Lead SAP Basis Consultant at Infosys

This position will required a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

16032 SAP Hybris Functional Expert

12 Month Contract

Worker must be willing and able to work onsite 2-3 times a week.

Implementation and hands on experience with SAP Hybris

The SAP Hybris functional expert will be part of the ERP team that provides SAP based solutions to the North America channel operations business function. These solutions involve end to end sales and distribution related functionality specifically on Hybris (C/4 Hana).

Key responsibilities include:
• Play a key role in the delivery of projects based on business requirements. You will translate business requirements into design specifications leveraging SAP Hybris and communicate across all levels of the business and IT partners for solution review, endorsement and delivery.
• Must have full lifecycle experience on multiple projects, from requirements gathering through functional specifications/design and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Developers, and Designers to Design, build, maintain, and enhance existing applications and develop new ones per business requirements.
• Analyze, design, build, test, deploy solutions in SAP Hybris and other system integrations to backend ERP system where necessary.
• Develop system features as per business requirements and create documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test planning and execution
• Collaborate with functional and IT technical teams and Business SMEs to realize solutions for cross-functional areas (either integration with other SAP modules or external systems)
• Support IT lead in communicating and obtaining buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for design (covering people, process, and technology)
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance is maintained for all supported systems.
• Deliver solutions that can be scaled globally and maximize value and minimize duplication of solutions.

This role requires excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with both business and technical teams. For this position, the ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in designing and delivering complex web projects based on Hybris eCommerce platform.
• Experience working in a global enterprise delivering solutions on Hybris as well as hands-on expertise working within SAP SD
• Possess in depth knowledge of master data, configuration, and transactions involved in the order to cash process
• Experience with full life-cycle projects from initial scoping through delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, self-motivated, result-oriented team player having a track record of timely, high-quality deliverables
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills; strong presentation and negotiation/conflict resolution skills
