About the role:

The Tax Senior Analyst is a member of the income tax provision team and will assist the team with various aspects of the Company’s SEC reporting requirements under ASC 740. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with relevant corporate tax experience, an eagerness to learn, an analytical mind and strong collaborative skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Prepare components of the Company’s quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures, with focus areas of preparation of the foreign provision, tracking of foreign deferred taxes inventory, and supporting tasks related to ASC 740-10 (FIN48)
• Prepare payable balances, tax account analysis and reconciliations
• Assist in tax forecasts with multiple scenarios to aid planning and decision making
• Support worldwide SOX processes and maintain SOX compliance
• Contribute to continuous improvements in tax provision processes by exercising out of the box thinking to optimize efficiency, including collaboration with internal process transformation team and other tax specialty groups
• Assist in preparation of insightful analytics summary for management review, including preparation and delivery of quarterly presentations
• Proactively maintain provision project deadlines
• Build collaborative working relationships across the organization
• Support special projects as needed

Experience/Skills Required:
• 4-5 years of corporate tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
• Demonstrate strong general accounting knowledge; familiar with ASC 740 and ASC 718 principles
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly, Excel or Sheets
• Experience in financial systems, CORPTax provision, Alteryx, or Tableau is highly desirable
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Capability to communicate tax concepts and information needs effectively to non-tax colleagues
• Ability to be an effective self-learner, and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven, dynamic environment

Role Description

Q Branch is a dedicated team of designers, developers and creatives dedicated to delivering transformative pre-sales solutions alongside our Solutions Engineers and Account Teams. The Q Branch Video team is in need of an experienced copywriter to provide next-level content solutions that help our customers solve their biggest challenges, and excite prospects and customers about their future vision in partnership with Salesforce. These efforts help to win deals and deliver customer success. This is an important role within the department and the ideal candidate will have experience with an ad agency, in-house production group or client-side work, creating video sales solutions that win business. You will work closely with the Q Branch Producers, Writers and Editors encouraging narrative accountability over all video content and will need to be comfortable creating customized narratives for Vision Videos, Explainer Videos and Exposition and reporting videos. You will also work in partnership with the greater cross-functional Q Branch teams (researchers, strategists, developers, and other designers), collaborating through outlining and scripting for other Salesforce projects that relate to helping close deals.

Collaborate with the team’s Copywriters to create comprehensive campaigns

Understand creative strategies and creative briefs, with a demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions that meet defined objectives

Work with internal teams and partners to define original concepts and unique approaches that are on-brand within brand style and tone

Present ideas proficiently and partner cross-functionally to develop strategic presentations for executive stakeholders, creating well-designed presentation decks to sell in creative solutions

Partner with Content Strategy, Social Media, Marketing Comms Teams, to understand broad based brand look and feel, tone and voice narrative style across multichannel campaigns

Constantly push the envelope by promoting progressive thinking and innovation

Work with external vendors/freelancers to provide clear creative direction and timely/helpful feedback to improve creative processes

Who you are: You have advanced design skills, impressive conceptual abilities, an a knack for creative problem solving. Although you’ll partner members of our Content team, you are not simply a content creator, you are an Art Director, and experienced in your craft. You’re fearless, and try new approaches and techniques to consistently create something new. You have your finger on the pulse of industry trends and best practices, and you’re frequently sought out by other designers for input on their ideas and designs. You’re both a sprinter and long-distance runner that enjoys their craft as well as leading others. You have a passion for driving change in the world, for driving solutions to climate change and developing work that creates impact. You’ll lead and concept everything from big campaign ideas and event experiences to cohesive design themes for a variety of values-based campaigns, particularly for Sustainability. You’ll advise on web design and content creation, and you’ll be responsible for video creation and developing engaging experiences for our world-class events, including our Net Zero Summit. Skills and experience:

5 to 8 years of advertising agency or design shop experience or with strong command of integrated marketing/advertising campaigns which includes digital marketing in addition to traditional advertising or design projects

A compelling portfolio of original work that’s both conceptual and results-driven

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Strong attention to detail and eagerness to push the boundaries

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Detail oriented

A Bachelor’s degree
