Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an AWS Serverless Engineer (Python). This is a remote role working Eastern time zone hours.


The primary function of this role is to function as an AWS Serverless Engineer. You will be using cutting-edge technology and implementing proprietary applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity and developing cloud-native solutions.


Must have the following skills:
• AWS Services: Lambda-MUST, DynamoDB-Preferred, Glue-Preferrred, CloudWatch, API Gateway
• Python-MUST
• Elasticsearch
Minimum Qualifications
• 6 years experience in designing, building, and managing REST APIs as an individual contributor.
• 4 years experience ensuring an AWS solution is production deployment and operations ready.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
• Experience supporting Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD integration
• Good to have skills with APIs on Mulesoft or Apigee
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security best practices, operating under a least privileged model of access in AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
• Experience with system health monitoring and optimizing performance (e.g CloudWatch, New Relic, and CloudTrail)
Certifications (Preferred)
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• AWS Developer Associate
