We have a compelling opportunity for a C#.NET Developer in support of the NYC Office of the Comptroller’s Omnibus Automated Image Storage Information System (OAISIS) program.

NYC uses OAISIS to process claims filed against NYC, process contracts, as well as enforcing the prevailing wage. OAISIS is built using C#, web services, .NET, entity framework, using Oracle as the database. The OAISIS team is responsible for the support and management of the OAISIS program, as well as any enhancements the City may ask of Peraton. The C#.NET Developer would be responsible for software development, and support, as mentioned above including application, database and software toolkit.

What You’ll Do:

Requirements Analysis
Participate in analysis of the business requirements.
Help to coordinate and support project activities for requirements analysis.
System Development
Develop applications to deliver system capability.
Develop enhancements to existing applications to deliver increased system capability.
Operations and Maintenance
Perform enhancements and fix defects.
Provide technical and administrative support for the maintenance of application systems.
Provide post-patch testing and validation.
Support existing Digital Services governance, processes and structures to coordinate maintenance activities to ensure awareness and mitigate schedule conflicts.
Provide support to the OAISIS users as issues arise.
User acceptance testing support.
System compliance and other documentation as required.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of experience (Additional 6 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree)
.NET Framework: Experience in win-forms, web-forms and MVC development.
Programming language: Mainly C# writing high-quality and efficient code, web services.
Oracle experience.
Problem-solving skills: Resolving any bugs/issues found, making enhancements when requested.
Task management: Working with project manager to keep track of the progress of all items.
Testing: Ability to test any changes made as proof of validation/verification before deploying to different environments.
Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities.
Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support.
Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Qualifications:

ASP.NET and Entity Framework proficiency.
Database Software: Oracle proficiency (creating tables, views, stored procedures. etc.).
Version Control Software: Familiar with using both Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GitLab as code repository.
Automating business processes experience.
Test driven development proficiency.
Linux experience.
Customer service: Candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills.
Documentation: Ensuring all documentation is up-to-date where applicable (user guides, data dictionaries, Verification & Validation documents, etc.).

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
