Maintain and manage release and development branches within code repository to ensure consistency of code check-ins and applicability of related branches Effectively work with Release Manager to determine when a release branch should be made as well as related branch management policies and best practices Demonstrated understanding of software development life cycles Hands on knowledge of lab & IT infrastructure, comfortable configuring hardware, networks, software, etc Familiarity with the following a strong plus: distributed systems, networking, multithreading, enterprise storage Enforce acceptance criteria of turnover packages: code, documentation and other types of software development assets Schedule, perform and notify stakeholders of releases Support off hours release of software Contribute to evolution of configuration management policy and procedures Communicate CM methodologies to development staff Troubleshoot software issues in all environments Review system and machine event and error logs on routine basis
• BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
• Proven experience in release management role supporting an enterprise Information Technology (IT) program
• Demonstrated experience managing, planning, and scheduling the rollout of IT services, updates, and releases to the production environment
• ITIL certification desired
• Must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility

Salary Minimum: $72,500
Salary Mid: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $181,300
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees
