Job Profile

The Cyber Fraud Analytics and Intelligence (CFAI) team is looking for an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our global team CFAI’s mission is to provide accurate, consistent, and timely cyber fraud analysis and intelligence to enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and proactively prevent cyber enabled fraud using an evidence-based data-driven approach As a new Associate Cyber Fraud Intelligence Analyst you will be tasked with collecting, communicating, disseminating intelligence and building analytics to help investigate and prevent attacks against the firm

The following are what will be expected of the candidate:
– Understanding of cyber fraud principles
– Monitor cyber fraud feeds, escalation of alerts, information share via approved channels
– Cyber Fraud intel research focused on TTPs, IOCs, trend analysis, threat actor profiling
– Metrics data collection, presentation, timely dissemination
– Distilling and contextualizing disparate data sources and information into concise reports and assessments ie Cyber Fraud Newsletter and Cyber Fraud Threat Intel Reports
– Gather requirements for TIP, Case Manager from CFAI team and represent the team during development and user meetings with the greater Hunt team
– Work with the WM and Fraud Tech team to identify and build use cases for Cyber Fraud intel related analytics
– Assist with cyber fraud intel data feed collection and migration to CDP
– Write queries using python to for deep-dive investigation and to build POC preventive analytics
Skills Required:
– Cybersecurity knowledge (at least 2 years) or strong fraud knowledge (at least 2 years)
– Understanding of threat actors, TTPs, ability to identify in-line with known frameworks, ex MITRE ATT&CK
– Familiarity with threat intelligence lifecycle
– Exposure and practice in conducting independent, structured threat hunting
– Applied knowledge and experience of exploitation operations
– Familiarity with python for data mining and data analysis or willingness to learn
– Experienced in report writing and presenting relevant findings to senior leadership
– Experience in independent collection and analysis of data
– Capability an interest in documenting significant findings
– Strong organizational skills for documentation and prioritization of work
– Strong attention to detail
– Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
– Adaptable to learning new technologies and working in a fast-paced environment
– Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities
– Ability to work as team and complete assigned tasks independently
– Additional job duties will be assigned as analyst becomes more senior in role
– Proven track record in ability to learn new concepts and technology
