Summary of Position
Neustar Security Services (NSS) is looking for a Service Desk Technician with expertise in administering Cloud Services like Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Service Desk Plus, Slack and others Administration includes configuration, account management, monitoring, and working with Cloud providers to manage upgradesAd:

This role supports the NSS Service Desk and will require shift coverage and participation in off hours on-call rotation
Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of prior experience in Service Desk support and Cloud Tools Administration Specific skills include:
Microsoft 365 administration – Azure AD, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive
Atlassian administration – Jira, Confluence
API integration fundamentals
ITSM fundamentals – ITIL change, incident and problem management
Service Delivery fundamentals – monitoring, capacity planning, license management

Ability to provide technical support to in office and remote workers
Ability to create written user documentation that non-technical users can follow
Desktop support – Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS, Android
support operating system configuration and updates
Support installed software on all 4 platforms
Internet connectivity – wifi, IP addresses (DHCP/static), desktop firewalls, routing, switching
Peripheral management – storage, printers, virtual teleconference systems
Account administration – single sign on, roles & permissions, password management, multi-factor authentication
Reporting – ability to analyze data and create reports using Excel or other analytical tools
Service Desk will be responsible for end-to-end Management and Administration of all IT operations, including the following functions:
Support interface for all internal NSS Technology Services, providing support for the services in the Service Desk Scope and coordinating with third parties to support all remaining services
Service Monitoring for performance, quality and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving user issues
Corporate network support, including corporate VPN and network maintenance for NSS Corporate offices
Device Support, including laptops, mobile phones, printers and virtual TeleConference hardware, including patch management
Laptop and Mobile Software Support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and removal
Identity/Account Management, including user onboarding/offboarding, password rotation and role/persona maintenance activities
Liaison with Corporate Security Operations Center to proactively detect and resolve individual user security incidents
Support individual user data protection and backup
Documentation, including but not limited to process flows, service design, integration design, Service Desk standard operating procedures and user Guides
User training and education
