What You Will Do
This role will be leading the leading the technologists responsible for implementing and maintaining a Platform as a Service (PaaS) with multi-level security built on AWS. This environment will require a DoDAF enterprise architecture to be developed/maintained with an emphasis on data taxonomy/architecture. This position is responsible for the deployment and technical support of scalable, reliable applications for cloud-based environments using industry standards and through regulated and DoD approved environments. The architect will manage enterprise solutions in alignment with program strategies including multi-cloud, hybrid, edge-computing, disconnected/low-bandwidth, and System of Systems (SoS) integration efforts. This role will work with a focused team to engineer, build, deploy, and maintain multiple environments for the purpose of development, testing, and production hosting of custom enterprise business applications
What You Will Need
• An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science or Information Technology. An educational equivalency FOUR (4) years of experience in a comparable (i.e., performing the same or similar function) assignment on an enterprise business system may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. An educational equivalency is in addition to years of experience.
• FIVE (5) years’ experience in the implementation of DoD enterprise IT program(s), performing the Enterprise/Cloud Architect role.
• ONE (1 year of hands-on experience with AWS technology.
• Experience in at least one of the following: multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, edge-computing, disconnected/low-bandwidth environments, Systems of Systems integration
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP) or capability to obtain within 6 months from hire.

• Large scale IT deployment experience
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
