Full Stack Engineer (Web3) at Vitamin T

Initially you will focus on:
• Updating and maintaining the front-end for a Vue.JS-powered website
• Building an interface and backend logic for a crafting environment
• Writing scripts and tools to interact with smart contracts deployed on the Ethereum blockchain
• Back-end image generation software
• Short-lived scripts and sites to support “Quests”, an ARG-type experience that runs about once every month

Responsibilities:
• Develop, code, debug, test, analyze, maintain, and deploy code and software
• Design and implement intuitive and visual aspects for websites, products, and experiences
• Create components such as inputs, forms, modals and controls for the UI
• Produce write-ups and documentation for software, write tickets, bug reports, and user stories
• Identify inefficiencies and help find solutions to improve upon software and processes inside and outside of core projects
• Communicate needs, expectations, and timelines with teammates and management

Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of software development experience
• Experience in start-ups, small teams, or has operated in a 0-1 environment
• Demonstrated experience developing the front-end of visually stunning sites, applications, or programs
• Medium to Strong experience in WebGL or OpenGL
• Familiar with Three.JS, BabylonJS or similar 3D libraries
• Strong experience writing JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js code
• Strong experience with HTML5 & CSS3
• Strong experience with a front-end web framework like Vue.js or React.js
• Experience deploying full-stack applications, with provided examples
• Experience writing relational database queries (such as PostgreSQL)
• Experience with source control (such as Git)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote environment

Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with Maya, Blender, or other 3D modeling software
• Experience with Digital Ocean, or familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or similar
• Experience with shell commands and comfortable with Linux
• Experience working in Web3 technologies: Web3.js or ethers.js
• Experience designing UI/UX elements
• Experience writing Solidity smart contracts
• Familiarity with scrum / agile development process
• Educational background in computer science or another STEM field. Self-taught or formal, is welcome
