• Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff level professionals and become actively involved in staff development and practice management

Qualifications:
• A minimum of eight years of SAP BPC/SAC/Group Reporting related experience with a professional services advisory firm or publicly traded company and experience leading and delivering full life cycle implementations as well as specific experience in Group Reporting
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university is preferred
• Experience in process reengineering, designing and implementing business performance management applications including budgeting, forecasting, planning, consolidation, and reporting
• Functional knowledge of SAP BW, FI-CO and additional SAP modules to help support planning and consolidations
• Experience with governance, controls, process and procedures, centers of competency, change management, conceptual data modeling, master data management, data standardization and stewardship, information integrity and compliance, and data quality management
• Travel may be up to 80-100% of the time

The SAP Specialist be responsible to design, implement and support new business capabilities into Cepheids SAP systems and related third party systems You will also participate in local or global projects across Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Control, Production Supply and related processes including interfaces with MES (Manufacturing Execution System). The applicant is expected to drive continuous improvements and SAP best practices in support of the company vision and roadmap.

This position is part of the IT Global Business Services team and will be located at our Manufacturing site in Lodi or Sunnyvale, CA Hybrid.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Assist in configure SAP PP/MM modules (or other modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules such as WM in a manufacturing environment.
• Lead implementation projects as project manager in alignment with Cepheid ITs methodologies and governance model.
• Partner with business users to drive continuous process improvement through SAP solutions and integration with other manufacturing systems.
• Assist in design, implement, support interfaces with other peripheral system applications such as MES.
• Establish relationships with Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Planning, Procurement, Production stockroom and other related functions) and Quality departments locally in the Lodi area sites and globally.

The essential requirements include:
