Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

Will provide testing and triage support for a modernization project

Perform/support testing efforts of the new Java system and identify errors/defects with root cause analysis when errors or data mismatches occur.

QualificationsRequired

Public Trust Clearance is required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

5+ years of experience with ALC and Java code

Knowledge of IBM Assembler language to read code

Must have a strong understanding of Assembler (ALC, mainframe) and how it’s used in the current production environment as well as understanding legacy data structures

Knowledge of Java standards and design patterns, debugging and defect triage ability, understanding of the codebase, and knowledge of key business processes

Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred

Familiarity with Database and JAVA concepts and frameworks, and object-oriented design principles is a strong plus.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure experience an advantage, especially with AWS services
• Understanding of scaled agile and DevOps development environments
