Our Team

Our Data Department is an integral part of our organization and is responsible for all things data. The team works with other departments to filter client needs into projects with useful, reliable results. The Data Department is responsible for reviewing data collection tools, database design, cleaning data, performing statistical calculations, programming changes, and additional tasks using collected data. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team at Envirosell.

Responsibilities:
• Reviewing data collection tools (tracking forms, surveys, interview guides)
• Quantitative data analysis for relational databases (SPSS and Microsoft Access)
• Survey programming and data entry
• Cleaning, mining, and recoding data using SPSS products and Microsoft Access
• Independently perform statistical calculations on data collected in the field, including regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, frequencies, and crosstabs
• Assisting project teams in the display and interpretation of statistical data, drawing recommendations & conclusions
• Researching, recommending, adopting, implementing, and programming any changes required to improve the data analysis system (including new technologies and methodological tools)
• Supervise and understand programming in Qualtrics, Decipher, and other adopted platforms

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• At least 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in a quantitative research related field
• Experience using online survey platforms, such as Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.
• Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and SPSS
• Experience with programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Must be detail oriented with an ability to work under strict deadlines
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, reviewing, and analyzing clinical, financial, health outcomes, utilization data across the NYUPN Clinically Integrated Network and the department of Network Integration and . Composed of over 4,000 physicians, the NYUPN is an integrated network of inpatient and outpatient physicians and healthcare providers created to improve the patient experience, improve the health of our patients, and reduce the costs of healthcare. The analyst will also work on data requests and analysis needed by the leadership and Pillar leads for the Beyond Bridges project. The position will develop standard performance scorecards as well as patient population tracking by shared savings contract, practice and/or physician to display financial and quality performance data. The position will work in close partnership with the Office of Managed Care in reviewing and understanding extensive claims data sets, and Information Technology department to extract and leverage information stored within the data warehouse. The position will be responsible for displaying how changes in clinical practice may impact overall performance of the NYUPN and Beyond Bridges programs.

Job Responsibilities:
• S upports the analytical needs and reporting responsibilities of NYUPN’s commercial ACO shared savings agreements, grant applications, Beyond Bridges quality and engagement data requests and other Network Integration initiatives; provides analytical support regarding changes impacting projects, grants, contracts, etc.
• Uses statistical programs and query tools to organize large data sets into workable formats, troubleshoot issues, and generate meaningful analysis and reports. Learns new statistical programs as needed.

You must be proactive, self-driven, have endless curiosity, empathize with our customers and possess the aptitude to dig into complex datasets in order to answer questions that our stakeholders are asking.

Serving an array of business stakeholders across the company, the Senior Data Analyst will gather and analyze data on customer behavior, profiles and product engagement that will be used to help make data driven decisions that will help us to provide a better experience for our large customer base. You will dive deep into the data, build models and provide complex analyses to help us predict usage patterns so that we can provide our customers with the right guidance at the right time.

As a senior member of a team that’s the single point of contact for product data, you must be able to understand the business needs of and build a rapport with people from organizations across the company (including leadership). You must be unusually attentive to detail. Our stakeholders trust us to provide accurate data so that they can make critical business decisions. You must have exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen and ask relevant questions in order to elicit the stakeholders’ requirements even when they don’t know exactly what they want.

What you’ll do:
• Lead discussions and serve as a visible team representative in cross functional meetings across the company to stay up to date on product changes that will impact the team.
• Manage and coordinate project and report requests independently with minimum supervision; work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and add user stories/tickets to our Kanban board
• Proactively track new features, research new data sources to add to our data repository.
• Proactively contribute to the Analytics Knowledgebase, write Confluence/Wiki articles, share information and knowledge with other team members.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to recommend and establish success metrics and KPIs to be used to assess product feature adoption and usage based on available data. Create dashboards that allow the PMs access to easily monitor the metrics.
• Use available data sources and knowledge of our customers and the product to proactively surface trends, pain points, opportunities for improvements and present them to the product leaders.
• Use Pendo and Google Analytics to examine flow success and build dashboards and use the results to make recommendations for product improvement.
• Work with the User Experience teams to get a better understanding of our customers by combining their qualitative data (obtained from surveys, interviews, test panels) with our quantitative data.
• Participate in Customer Panels and one on one customer (virtual) visits to get a personal understanding of our customers, their businesses, their needs and how they use our products to be successful.
• Provide ad-hoc and ongoing reporting on customer behaviors and product usage during the entire customer lifecycle.
• Provide product usage, invoice history as well as account attributes of desired customer cohorts for targeted marketing and CLM (customer lifecycle management) communications.
• Summarize product usage patterns for the Customer Success organization to help in keeping our customers engaged and successful by being able to intervene and provide guidance when their engagement declines
• Summarize product usage statistics to be used for press releases and statements to the press for the Public Relations organization.
• Measure the success of product marketing communications, webinars, A/B tests using product data to determine if customers have been influenced to try different features.

Who you are:
• Identify and harvest data sources from various data platforms such as Snowflake, My SQL Databases, Google Analytics, AWS/S3 buckets.
• Write complex scripts in SQL/R/Python to pull, clean and aggregate the data.
• Provide insights into product behavior and engagement to inform product changes, using statistical analysis. Be able to interpret the data for the stakeholders.
• Build appropriate statistical models using R or Python to help identify relationships between customer attributes and feature usage.
• Manage day to day research and data requests using Jira, deliver timely and accurate reports in Excel, Google Sheets, Data Studio and Tableau.
• Collaborate with your wonderful teammates on ongoing strategies to surface insights, and contribute to the overall on analytics knowledge of the team using Wiki and Confluence pages to share knowledge.
• Work with members of the other Data/Analytics teams to leverage product data with other sources to be used for analysis and predictive modeling.
• Develop regular reports using Tableau for consumption by all stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree data/quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Management, Statistics, etc.)
• At least 5 years of business related experience that demonstrates:
• Proven impact as a Senior Data analyst in a Product Organization
• An excellent understanding of relational databases, data warehouse, and cloud storage concepts, ETL.
• Extensive SQL experience; ability to write complex queries to extract, manipulate and analyze data across multiple data platforms.
• Experience with R/Python in a business setting.
• Previous business experience with statistical/predictive modeling
• Familiarity using ML and desire to experiment building ML models to turn data into recommendations
• Hands-on experience with Google analytics(preferred), Pendo(preferred) and/or Quantum Metrics to examine and analyze user behaviors in the product
