The Autonomous Database Team is responsible for building the cloud service framework powering various Oracle Autonomous Database cloud services, including Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP). Responsible for engineering the server and client virtualization infrastructure. The Infrastructure Services Team is within Business Technology Services, which is committed to assisting The Medical Center and its patients.

Position Summary

Contributes in the planning, design, development and implementation of integrated technology solutions that support and enhance the cloud platform infrastructure for the Medical Center. Responsible for the engineering, build, configuration, integration, performance optimization, and end-to-end testing of cloud platforms to ensure stability, reliability and acceptable performance. Plans and develops the detailed engineering, design and implementation of the Medical Center s cloud infrastructure configuration. Plans and validates upgrades of cloud infrastructure and support systems in accordance with ITIL best practices. Responsible for cloud infrastructure build projects that range from medium to large in scope, risk and impact. Contributes to strategic projects by evaluating and researching new and existing products, procedures and/or workflows needs associated with cloud infrastructure for the Medical Center. Researches current and developing technologies to provide technical guidance pertaining to the capabilities, limitations and requirements of the cloud infrastructure platforms

Azure (AKS is a huge bonus), virtualization experience, experience in workload migrations are all requirements
