What youll do
• Design, implement, test and ship scalable Cloud services to integrate a new category of devices and use-cases into the Philips Hue ecosystem
• Work in a multidisciplinary team (App, Cloud, Embedded) that together delivers new features and functionalities end to end. You represent the Cloud Back End in system design choices and definition of specifications.

Your qualifications

• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented principles, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• Practical experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, trends and industry-leading cloud vendor offerings
• Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices to be used by other teams designed to increase productivity
• Solid experience in implementing high performance, high availability, reliable, and secure applications
• Experience designing and developing solutions using AWS services such as: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, KMS, Kinesis, Route 53, IAM, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and other managed services.
• Experience working with cloud automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, etc.
• Strong written and communication skills
• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, OSI Model
• Good Understanding of high-level security concepts and threat modeling
• SQL and No-SQL database experience
• Experience in hybrid On-prem and Cloud computing implementation and integration preferred.
