Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments. You will focus on top accounts listed as key and named accounts. These accounts are categorized by opportunity, potential, and existing revenue margin metrics.
• Focus on strategic customer involvement – by working directly or through Client executives, architects, and engineers already focused on the client. This also involves speaking responsibilities at individual executive briefings and client business reviews.

The goal is to create a vision and strategy aligning operational effectiveness with business outcomes. Enterprise architects will maintain a technical competency with breadth across multiple verticals, solutions, and vendors. These competencies are critical to creating a strategy both feasible and aligned with Presidio’s core solution strengths.
• Focus on specific existing vendors within the datacenter & campus network space focused around Cloud, Security, SDN (ACI, NSX-T) and IoT – Dell EMC, VMware, Cisco, Nutanix, NetApp, Palo Alto, and many more.

• Focus on creating 12-36-month strategy around key vendors as it applies to Presidio. The strategy is top of mind with our vendors in maintaining both direction and alignment in key and named account initiatives.
• Help the Office of the CTO and VP of sales develop strategy, solutions and services offerings. The CTO and team will rely on information from the Enterprise Architect as it relates to challenges and business problems facing our clients.
• This will involve, but not be limited to conference attendance, Partner Tech Summits, QBR’s, briefings, advisory boards, individual meetings.
• This strategy encompasses technical aspects along with pre-sales and post sales perspective (what products can drive significant services and needed skillsets, feedback from post sales about product quality).
• Focus on execution of that strategy within Presidio.
