As part of the Blockchain team, you will be responsible for building on a production-grade L1 blockchain. You will work on initiatives from performance, reliability, scalability, decentralization. These projects will have an emphasis on quality, safety, and interoperability with other tools.

What you’ll be doing:
• Design core, backend software components, and code primarily using Rust that support a blockchain and its ecosystem of systems
• Use extensive experience to build, test, debug, and deploy large-scale decentralized systems across nodes
• Work with file systems, execution engines, programming language design, and consensus protocols to complete complex engineering challenges such as scaling up performance and reducing transaction latency

Protocol Development (i.e. building new blockchains)
• Technology: Rust

What You’ll Need:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing, delivering, and assessing complex technical architecture solutions

• Blockchain protocol-level development (e.g. networking, consensus or other protocol layer technologies)

What You Will Be Doing

Design and develop features in Solidity. Optimize contracts for minimal gas expenditure. Collaborate with Product, Support, DevOps, QA and architects in designing and developing products. Implement high quality, secure and robust applications with optimal performance in a fast-paced environment. Lead and mentor junior team members.

What You Need for this Position

10+ years of experience in broader software development with ideally 5+ years in distributed software development.
• Solid understanding of blockchain and smart contract architecture, ERC specifications, OpenZeppelin classes, and IPFS best practices.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests.
• As we are a smaller team, being proactive and a solid communicator are also essential.
Bonus If You Have

Senior Software Engineer – leading Blockchain company

Location: Remote (both during and after the pandemic). It has always been a remote-first company. If you prefer to work in an office, the company can pay for shared office space for you.

The company is one of the top companies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency realm. Candidates must either have a passion for the space or at least a strong interest in getting into the space.

The company has about 60 employees and 20 engineers, is very strong financially, and is rapidly growing.

The company will pay up to $200k in salary (depending on experience), plus about crytocurrency tokens which could be lucrative.

Job Responsibilities:

– Designing and implementing new product features involving trust, cryptocurrency staking, data aggregation and much more.

– Managing the architectural vision for for new subsystems in the company’s core node.

– Building resilient distributed systems with extremely high reliability.

– Working the the tech stack which includes Golang, Solidity, AWS, PostgreSQL, and more.

Requirements:

– Experience building distributed systems.

– Solid programming ability with Go.

– Passionate about blockchain.

– At least 4 years of professional experience.

– A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.

– Solid understanding of systems design.

– Great communication skills.

– Ability to work independently.

Examples of these moments include when a player is at bat, a team starts a fourth down, a boxer enters round 12 on their last legs, etc. We’re developing a novel blockchain-based experience for digital sports collectibles, and we have a long way to go before we can claim to be the market leader.

What You Will Be Doing

Design and develop features in Solidity. Optimize contracts for minimal gas expenditure. Collaborate with Product, Support, DevOps, QA and architects in designing and developing products. Implement high quality, secure and robust applications with optimal performance in a fast-paced environment. Lead and mentor junior team members.

What You Need for this Position

10+ years of experience in broader software development with ideally 5+ years in distributed software development.
• Solid understanding of blockchain and smart contract architecture, ERC specifications, OpenZeppelin classes, and IPFS best practices.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests.
• As we are a smaller team, being proactive and a solid communicator are also essential.
Bonus If You Have
• Experience building RESTful APIs and/or external tools to communicate with a smart contract.
