Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (“Fallen Patriots”) is a 501(c)3 organization that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
• We are dedicated to serving the families of service members from all branches of the armed forces who have died as a result of combat casualties, military training accidents, service related illnesses, suicide, as well as other duty-related deaths as ruled by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Position Overview
Fallen Patriots is seeking an experienced, hands-on Salesforce Administrator and IT Support Professional to support Fallen Patriots’ operations. Reporting to the Controller/Director of Development Support, you will work hand-in-hand with all departments to maintain and develop Salesforce and IT solutions for the organization. This will include uploading of data, maintenance and creation of dynamic fields that are integrated into our current and future reporting requirements along with implementation of new Salesforce related solutions. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of data integrity. Position responsibility also includes support, maintenance and provisioning of computers and software solutions across Fallen Patriots. Essential requirements include a minimum of 3-5 years as a Salesforce Administrator and IT Professional, highly effective communication and people management skills, superior project management skills and a proactive and meticulous approach.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce Administrator
Creating and managing new profiles and existing access in Salesforce
Importing Donor and Student data and other important data into existing object structure
Design complex reports to meet departmental needs
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Sandbox environment management
Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
Working with integrated applications including DocuSign, Conga, Classy, Survey Monkey, Mailchimp, etc.
Providing training sessions to various department if needed
Using deduplication tools to remove duplicate data from the software
Resolving problems as they arise in the Salesforce software
Assisting in onboarding new employees to handle Salesforce
IT Support
Develop and implement IT support ticket system
Provision new/existing computers with various software products including, but not limited to, Office 365 suite, Adobe products, dropbox, etc.
Ensure computers and data are protected from security threats and manage disaster recovery solutions
Maintain general health of all systems
Other Projects
Research, develop, recommend and implement new Salesforce solutions to increase the organizations capabilities
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Desired Experience
Passion for our Mission
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university – preferably in Computer Science or comparable work experience
Professional certificate as a Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certifies Advanced Administrator is mandatory
Minimum 3-5 years of Salesforce Adminstrator experience, demonstrating a clear increase in responsibilities
Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software – Experience with Salesforce and Sage Intacct a plus
Strong experience designing and managing reporting
Advanced knowledge utilizing and maintaining Salesforce and IT systems.
Well organized, logical thinking decision-maker with an analytical, detailed approach to researching and problem solving
Strong people skills; ability to manage work collaboratively across the organization.

Position Type: Full-Time/Regular
This position is remote with occasional office visits as determined by the Management. The Office is located in Reston, Virginia, but the team is managed virtually. Local residency is preferred but not required.
