Andworx is hiring a Project Release Manager to help modernize and transform our customer organization that is focused on improving healthcare through the use of technology. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the smooth and timely release of software products in a team-oriented and agile development environment. As a candidate, you are organized and have a background leading customer facing agile software development projects. You understand how to lead teams through the software development lifecycle to ensure successful releases. This is a dynamic position that will have high visibility within our customer’s organization and requires the ability perform a wide range of responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience performing release management using the agile methodology that include: Identifying and tracking all items that need to be coordinated, managed, scheduled, and planned across a release, including co-dependencies. Leading requirements gathering, technical analysis and release related meetings. Coordinating with teams that include QA, development, packaging. Creating lifecycle cost estimates. Evaluating a prototype / proof of concept for end user functionality. Managing the deployment of deliverables into test phases and production. Identifying and communicating project-level risk and mitigation recommendations. Documenting releases, risks and maintaining the schedule of planned releases. Understanding of software development life cycle, with strong analytical skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities or tasks. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with excellent written, grammar, and verbal communication. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Atlassian Jira/Stash/Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience is preferred. Preferred technical certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe. Successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust background security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information. U.S Citizenship is required. Responsibilities As a Project Release Manager, you will focus on coordinating requirements, testing and release schedules of products and support services for our customer’s technologies and related projects. Work collaboratively with team planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling, and evaluating customers technology development and project progress throughout each project phase. Participate on any change control boards to be aware of what changes are occurring across the release and included projects. Ensure requirements are clear across dependent project streams as necessary. Identify requirements that impact other projects and add to those products’ requirements lists / backlogs. Track changes to requirements and communicate impacts to dependent product releases. Coordinate necessary product deliverables to work as an integrated release package. Coordinate product timelines ensuring they are planned and managed so any future dependencies come together in a timely manner. Manage the deployment of the deliverables to the test environment specifically ensuring that the external dependent items are available at test runtime. Manage the deployment of deliverable into production. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high-quality results. Provide recommendations for customer decision-making using data gathered through project management activities. Monitor project scope, cost, and schedule identifying issues and recommending solutions. Collaboratively work with Project Manager regarding risks, issues, requirements, designs, or solutions in support of the project and customer-wide dependencies. Validate release notes and that the release is operating as expected.
